Program Reservation/Attendee Accommodation

To reserve a program date online:

There you will select a program date as well as provide attendee accommodation information. The number of students who can attend each program is limited. The benefit of registering online is that once you have clicked the radio button next to a program date, you will immediately see a confirmation. If the date is in red with the word "closed" next to it, you will need to select another date. If you mail the program reservation (as described below), you will need to wait for a confirmation to be mailed to you to be sure you can attend the program you selected.

You may also make a reservation by mailing in the form at the bottom of the "Make an Orientation and Registration Reservation" sheet you received in your WIU Welcome Packet. You will need to indicate your top three choices for program dates. Programs are filled on a first-come, first-served basis. All efforts will be made to place you in one of your top choices. If your top three choices are unavailable, you will be placed in the next open date. Mail this form to WIU Office of the Registrar, 1 University Circle, Macomb, IL 61455. After receiving confirmation of your reservation date, you will need to provide attendee accommodation information. You may do so online on STARS (select New Student Registration Reservation) at anytime up until four days or less before day one of the program or you may fill out the form enclosed in the Date Confirmation Mailer which will be sent out in March/April.

Summer Orientation and Registration 2010 programs

Once the program date is reserved, you will be sent a postcard. Beginning in April, you will receive a Date Confirmation Mailer. It will include the date of the program you will be attending and will direct you to complete the registration information.

Students, family members, or guests needing any special accommodations in order to fully participate in the program or having any special needs such as health concerns, dietary needs, etc., should contact Student Development and Orientation at (309) 298-1884.
